Biography:

Biggs Darklighter is a character from the Star Wars universe, most notably featured in the Original Trilogy.

He first appeared in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. Biggs is a childhood friend of Luke Skywalker from Tatooine. Driven by a desire for adventure, Biggs leaves Tatooine to join the Imperial Academy as a pilot.

However, disillusioned with the Empire, he defects to the Rebellion. He is a skilled X-Wing pilot who fights alongside Luke in the Battle of Yavin.

Tragically, Biggs is killed during the battle while protecting Luke, making his mark as a brave member of the Rebellion.
